The WEBDATANET conference aims to bring together researchers and experts throughout the world to exchange research on topics related to web-based data collection & analysis methods.
WEBDATANET network was established in 2011 to build a multidisciplinary network of web-based data collection & analysis experts - (web) survey methodologists, psychologists, sociologists, linguists, economists, Internet scientists, media researchers and public opinion researchers, statisticians - to accumulate and synthesize knowledge of methodological problems and their potential solutions that must be addressed to provide web-based data with the scientific validity that traditional research methods already enjoy.
We are looking for interesting and innovative session proposals by researchers and experts throughout the world who are interested in topics which are directly linked to the main research themes of the WEBDATANET network (for more details see: http://webdatanet.cbs.dk/index.php/test/scientific-coordination):
• THEME 1: Quality issues of web surveys
• THEME 2: Innovations in web based data collection
• THEME 3: Guides, codes, standards, implementation and dissemination of web-based data
Session proposal format:
• Title of the session and selection of Theme.
• Abstract of max. 400 words on a coherent and focused session topic, including a leading question, and several key issues.
• Proposed session category: standard session (1.5 hour, 5 papers), round table (1 hour discussion).

The list of sessions accepted by the Programme Committee will be announced on the Web page of the WEBDATANET Conference on the end of September, 2014.
After that the call for papers will be open by the end of September , 2014.
Responsibilities of a session organizer:
As a proposer of an accepted session / roundtable your primary responsibility is to solicit high quality papers for the session and oversee their review. Your task is also to collaborate with the programme committee in determining which abstracts are to be accepted and structure presentation time in your session. Please, be aware that in the event that an insufficient number of papers are proposed or accepted for your session, it may be cancelled or merged with another session.
