I write to introduce you to a new project I'm working on -- free-speech.scss.tcd.ie.

It's a platform for anonymous expression (users don't create accounts (it's difficult to develop even an online persona) and IP addresses are not logged). It is designed to allow ideas to be juxtaposed by other ideas rather than to support conversation in the usual sense. One might be tempted to call it an "Asocial Network"; however, some interesting empirical work in the literature suggests that anonymous communication can lead to strongly positive social effects.

I am, of course, aware of the risks that intellectual detritus will land there. However, I think that this text-only platform will be interesting to study.

Anyway, please consider trying it out and passing it on to anyone who you think it might interest, if you think that is appropriate.
